Our Sin Offering

And if a man has committed a sin worthy of death,
then he shall be put to death
and you shall hang him on a tree

 Deuteronomy 21:22

In the Torah we read,
"A man committing a sin is worthy of death,
and shall be hung upon a tree"
And yet the guiltless took our shame
and bore the sins of many
What was engraved by the finger of Elohim
upon two tablets stone, could not be kept,
bringing to all, the death penalty
But the One who was crucified,
being nailed to the altar of a tree
became the sacrificial lamb
Our sin offering
His blood that was shed for all
remains as fresh as dew
With an inscription at the top that read,
Yeshua of Nazareth, King of the Jews
