What Really Matters

His master said to him,
‘Well done good and faithful servant.
You have been faithful over a little.
I will appoint you over much.
Enter into the joy of your master.’

Matthew 25:23

As the flower of our years begin to fade
We start to reflect on where we have gone
And wonder just what is up ahead
Life being so short and so fragile
We are here today, with no promise for tomorrow
What can we say we have accomplished?
Was it all for ourselves,
or for Elohim’s glory that we sought?
Did we really seek to know Him,
or just to hear about Him?
Will we have wasted our years
on things that did not really matter,
or come to understand what really does?
Did we surrender to Him completely,
or are we still hanging on to this present life
that will soon vanish away?
As we reflect in our hearts before Elohim
Where we are now,
and where we desire to be
Is our hope in this world,
or on life that is everlasting ?
Yeshua said, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life
Will we choose to serve ourselves,
or bow the knee to Him?
He is the only One Who has promised
to complete the work He has begun in us
to those who’s lives are completely surrendered to Him
So that when we leave this life He will be able to say,
“Well done thou good and faithful servant”
“Enter into the joy of your Master”
