Please Comfort My Soul!

Cast your cares upon Yehovah
and He shall sustain you

Psalm 55:22

Yehovah, "Please comfort my soul!"
And stand by me
when I feel so humanly alone
No one understands how I feel
But Yehovah, You know,
for nothing with You is concealed
My heart is heavy
for what lies ahead of me,
and there appears to be no way out
as far as I can see
But it is You Who holds my future,
so please set my soul at ease
and by Your Holy Spirit nurture
as You continually renew me
Knowing without You,
I would not have made it this far
when my soul has experienced plenty
Still sustained and guided
by The Bright and Morning Star
though my trials be many
