Day Star Arises Welcome

Hi, my name is Sandra Lamb Kay, and welcome to Day Star Arises. I use to live out in the canyon in Riverside, CA. I enjoyed the scenery that is there, and doing photography. I love writing poetry, by bringing my thoughts to the Lord, and Him bringing His thoughts back to me. I also love to paint a scenario through my photography along with my poetry writings to convey a spiritual message.

I am a born-again believer in Messiah Yeshua. I do not see myself as being named into a particular denomination, but as one who is a true believer in Messiah Yeshua, and a part of the body of Messiah. For there is only one body in Messiah, that are scattered throughout the world, and yet with one common bond in the Spirit, and that is Yeshua. And my one desire is to do His will for my life.

The name Day Star Arises comes from a passage in the Scriptures which reads;

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
to which you do well that you take heed,
as unto a light that shines in a dark place,
until the day dawn,
and the day star arise in your hearts
(2 Peter 1:19)

Day Star Arises was born out of a lot of dark valley experiences I went through with the Lord. Even as a light shining out of a dark place, the presence of Yeshua came in such a way, that caused me to start writing. As I would talk to the Lord, He would minister to me through my poetry writings. I desire to share with others what the Lord has ministered to me. The spiritual poetry writings in this website are done using the Hebraic names of God. Instead of Jesus, Yeshua is used. Likewise rather than the generic title Lord, His Hebrew name Yehovah is used. I have also chosen not to use the rather generic term God, and have used instead the Hebrew, Elohim. This website is dedicated to - Yeshua the Messiah, who has kept me through many various trials.
